My Story
My first memory of music is singing Year 3000 by Busted, in the attic of my childhood home, whilst recording it onto a little minicassette recorder.

I started playing drums when I was 4, and I remember taking my drum kit into nursery and thinking I was the coolest kid. However, at that time, I didn't want to do music as a career. I wanted to be a spy (realistic I know) and then a vet, and then a bin man. I realised that none of those jobs were really for me and set my heart on becoming a musician.

People always tell me that it's obvious I've always been good at music and singing, and I can tell you honestly, that is not true. I remember being in Year 5, so I would've been 10, and I got trust to sing 'Beauty & The Beast' in our school production of...Beauty & The Beast. Now, I don't know why I was picked. In this show I was playing Gate #2 and Tree #3 (I know, I'm versatile) but somehow I was trusted to sing this big song. My god. It was terrible. I still remember to this day. It being. Terrible.
Then, when I was 11, I started guitar lessons. And this changed the whole game for me. I quickly decided that I didn't want to be a drummer anymore...(I think this was because you don't get enough attention as a drummer and I love the spotlight) So there I was, with my pink electric guitar, probably playing Smoke On The Water. I started guitar lessons at Music Scene in Mansfield, which continued for 7 years before I moved to university. In this time, I decided I was bored of playing Smoke On The Water and switched to acoustic guitar. People always say to me "when did you realise you could sing?" And I honestly do not remember the first time I ever sat down, and sang and was like 'huh, not bad that' but I wish I did.

I put my first Youtube video up on 13th January 2012, and then it just went from there really. I started doing little gigs here and there and was really enjoying music.

Fast forward to 16, and I've now gone to college to study music. I'm gigging actively a few times a month, and with the support of both my Mum and Dad, I'm beginning to make a bit of a name for myself in the Nottingham Music Scene.

I was now writing songs a lot, and had began to teach myself music production.

Summer of 2015 I played one of my biggest gigs to date. Rock City main stage in Nottingham for the FSN final. This gave me the confidence and reassurance that I was doing what I was meant to do, and where I was meant to be.
Suddenly I'm 18, and I'm now moving to Liverpool to study at the prestigious Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts. Far too much amazing stuff happened while I was at LIPA but a quick summary is: Splendour Festival, YNOT Festival, Folk On The Dock, countless masterclasses and A&R sessions, a professional tour in Spain, performing at The Other Songs in London, and finally...
A one-to-one songwriting session with non other than Sir Paul McCartney himself. I don't think anything will ever top that right now. Oh wait...I got to meet him again at graduation and he called me baby...

During my time at LIPA I also released my debut single, Heat, produced by my wonderful friend Havård Haugland who I met whilst studying at uni.

Heat now has over 30,000 streams on Spotify, and well as streams on other platforms such as Apple Music. Alongside the single, I also released a music video that featured 2 dancers from LIPA, and was filmed by friends from the Management course. This video now has over 4,000 views on Facebook.
Then, I was 21, suddenly a graduate (Scary)
living in Liverpool and pursuing a career in
music, full time. I registered as self-employed,
and was sustaining a career in music, playing
at some really beautiful weddings, birthday
parties, baby showers As well as playing in
some really lovely venues regularly around
Liverpool.

About time I released more music right?
My second single, Maybe, came out
February 2020, and received a whole host
of support online, including radio play by
the lovely dean Jackson on BBC introducing.

And then...covid. 2020 the year of staying indoors and using anti-bac spray like perfume, not the year for live music!! But we got through it. I began working with the
wonderful JMW promotions so I was able to do live streams on my Facebook and connect with you all in different ways, all while raising money for some incredible food banks around the UK - my choice was ST Andrews
community network here in liverpool.

Fast forward to 2021...we're back
in lockdown again! February came,
and myself and the dog decided to
embark on a sponsored walked challenge
for dogs trust. 99k for canines through feb!

We raised £663 in total and the £1 request
show was born too! Every Monday for 8 weeks
I did a live stream on my Facebook, doing
requests for £1 with all money raised going
to dogs trust. this was so amazing to do and
kept me practicing music too.

Now we're nearing the end of 2022 and the past 2 years feel like a blur. Over the past year I've been back gigging like crazy, in pubs, restaurants, gardens, houses, weddings...you name it!
I have also remodelled my home studio and made it a nice professional space for me to make music.
I'm gigging in amazing places, and writing and creating music and I couldn't be happier.
I feel tremendously lucky and bless that I get to do what I love, every day, and earn money from it, and I can't thank the people who support me, enough.
